Health and Safety
Uniwide Drilling is committed to achieving a high level of safety in every aspect of our operation and at every level of our company. We are dedicated to providing a service in a way that ensures a safe and healthy workplace for all our employees and minimize our potential impact on the environment. No service is so urgent, no job is so important that we cannot take the time to perform our work in a safe, efficient and professional manner. Our safety program has been developed to meet and exceed all applicable government and client standards.
As outlined in our company health and safety manual, safety is a shared responsibility by all employees and shall be the number 1 guideline to which we work by. All our employees participate in multiple safety programs from the proper use of PPE, to the equipment they work with. We believe our high dedication to safety, employee training and monthly safety meetings has contributed to Uniwide Drilling’s excellent safety record after 21 years+ - it takes commitment to be the best.
All members of our drilling team are educated, ticketed and kept up to date on:
- E-Rail safe
- First Aid level 1
- WHIMIS
- Hearing/Fit test
- POST
- Ground Disturbance
- H2S Alive
- CSTS
- TDG
- Fire Extinguisher training
- Drug and Alcohol Testing
In addition to these, we hold many other site specific safety orientation and training tickets. Uniwide Drilling is also a member of both comply works and ISNet world.

Environmental Responsibility
It is our key belief that environmental harm is preventable through good communication, using tools in our Management system, engaging all personnel in preplanning of every task and maintaining a continual focus on the task at hand by the minute, by the hour and throughout the day. We will operate in compliance with all relevant environmental legislation and we will strive to use pollution prevention and environmental best practices in all we do.
Our Commitment:
